% Public Goods

After returning from my [recent travels](../travel_2011/), I've found myself
feeling grateful for three public goods:

  * safe drinking water,
  * wifi + internet access, and
  * [accessible public accommodations](http://www.ada.gov)

whose value I took for granted before I left and for two goods:

  * colorful cities with lots of vegetation and
  * newspapers containing substantive discussion

that I miss already after being back for just over a week.
